MK Nature Center/Bug Hunt!

I had to post a picture of the kids at the Car Wash. Everytime we go to the car wash Ben and Katie always hold hands. It's so cute!!!!! Katie gets scared and Ben is such a great big brother and always keeps his sister protected!

What a cute Girl....Katie is growing up fast she is such a girlie girl. She loves to get her nails painted now.

So everyone always made fun of me last summer because I always new were all the free activities were at. Especially my sister Brooke and now that she has a baby herself I think she has more apreciation for her sister frugalness....hehe. So they had a kids outdoor activities at MK Nature center. It was great! Here are Katie and Ben painting and writing in their journel's. They also layed on the sleeping bag and learned about bugs and gazing at the tree's. Learned how to find animal tracks and made their own and learned about different animal poop! At the very end their were mud pies to make. Basically they wet some dirt and kids were fithy dirty....I quickly made my kids leave. We were on our way to Ben's soccer game. So he was upset that we wouldn't let him play in it.

So here is our bug hunt. Ben was so sad about is not making mud pies that we thought we would go on an adventure. It was so nice out we went on a walk behind our house. They had so much fun and found lots of interesting bugs. Ben got a bug kit for Christmas that had alot of fun things to catch them with.
